**Job Overview:**
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and control of materials within our manufacturing facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring that production operations have the necessary materials readily available while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Receive, unload, and store incoming materials in designated storage areas.
– Prepare and stage materials for production according to production schedules or work orders.
– Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
– Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations 
– Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse and production areas.
– Collaborate with production teams to support continuous flow of materials needed for manufacturing processes.
– Assist in packaging and shipping finished products as needed.
– Report any inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.

**Skills and Qualifications:**
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
– Valid forklift operator certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
– Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time management skills.
– Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
– Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
– Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to material handling.
– Team player with good communication skills and a positive work attitude.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

**Working Conditions:**
– This position requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
– Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and ear protection may be required.
